2019 Toyota Supra – Prototype review

Engine and performance. Under the Supra’s bonnet sits a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine that produces an estimated 300bhp and 347lb-ft of torque, says Auto Express. Power is sent to the rear axle through an eight-speed automatic gearbox, helping the car go from zero to 62mph in less than five seconds and on to a top speed of around 155mph, the magazine continues. Meanwhile, the engine, transmission and interior switchgear have been plucked from the new BMW Z4, reports Autocar. This solitary teaser photograph has been issued ahead of the North American International Auto Show on 14 January.
